Boost Your Athletic Speed This with Move4Sport Summer Speed School!

What to expect:

Sprint mechanics & acceleration technique — We break down exactly how to run fast, from your starting position and drive phase through to top-end speed. Athletes learn how to apply force into the ground more effectively, develop optimal stride length and frequency, and eliminate the technical inefficiencies that are slowing them down.

Speed endurance & agility — Being fast once isn't enough. Athletes develop the capacity to produce high-speed efforts repeatedly across a session, a game, or a competition — combined with agility work that sharpens multi-directional movement, footwork, and the ability to stay sharp when fatigue sets in.

Reaction time & change of direction — Sport rarely moves in straight lines. This element develops the ability to read, react, decelerate, and redirect explosively — through reactive drills, competition-based challenges, and coached change of direction mechanics that make athletes quicker in the moments that actually matter.

Strength work to support speed — Speed is a physical quality that has to be built from the ground up. Athletes work through targeted strength exercises that develop the posterior chain, single-leg stability, and the muscular resilience needed to express speed powerfully and stay injury-free throughout a full training and competition schedule.

Expert S&C coaching throughout — Every session is led by qualified, experienced strength and conditioning coaches who specialise in athletic development. Athletes aren't just put through drills and sent home — they're coached, educated, and developed with intention from the first minute to the last.

Testimonials

Isabel McCullough

Professional Squash Player

My training with M4S completely changed how I move around the court — my first step is so much quicker and my change of direction feels effortless compared to what it was. The reaction drills were probably the biggest thing for me; reading the ball faster and being already moving before my opponent has even finished their shot.

Lily Miyazki

Professional Tennis Player - British Number 9

I have worked with Gareth and the M4S team for nearly 15 years. He helped with my physical development throughout my teenage years and has also been my S&C coach throughout my professional tennis career. Him and his team at Move4Sport are highly knowledgeable and also, genuinely care about their athletes/clients. I am grateful for their continued support.

Jayden Oladimeji

Junior Tennis Player

I always thought I was naturally quick but Move4Sport showed me I was leaving a lot on the table technically. My drive phase was wrong, my split steps were inefficient, and I had no idea. Working with M4S, my 10m time dropped by nearly half a second and my movement on court has improved massively. The sessions are hard but fun and I look forward to every one.

Our two-hour Speed School sessions cover every element that makes an athlete genuinely faster. Athletes then work through power development using plyometric and explosive exercises, building the reactive strength that translates directly into faster first steps and more dynamic movement on the pitch. The session closes with targeted strength work to build the posterior chain, single-leg stability, and the physical resilience that keeps athletes fast all season long.
